On Wednesday, Rolling Stone magazine published an expose on the alleged toxic workplace environment cultivated by host Jimmy Fallon.
According to the article, employees never knew what they were going to get from Fallon day to day. Would he be upbeat or would he be the belligerent and mean version they’ve seen? There was also speculation that Jimmy had a drinking problem and some staffers claim to have witnessed him appearing drunk or smelling like booze. Others say his behavior seemed to depend on whether or not he appeared hungover.
There was also a lot of turnover in higher positions. There had been nine showrunners in nine years. Employees had complained in the past about the workplace environment but nothing was ever done, allegedly.
