A 6-year-old named Casper was traveling from Philadelphia to Orlando to visit his grandmother for the holiday. But ended up at the Fort Myers airport. Four hours away.

Spirit Airlines had mistakenly boarded Casper on the wrong flight.

Casper’s grandmother Maria Ramos approached staff in Orlando asking where her grandson was, but didn’t get a clear answer. Casper eventually was able to reach Ms Rios, and she raced to Fort Myers to pick him up.

Spirit Airlines has since apologized for the mishap and has offered reimbursement for Ms. Rios’ travel expenses.
