Our 7AM shout Out Pledge of Allegiance with DUKE goes to a Fishing legend. Ron Lindner of Brainerd passed away this week, He was 86. He and His Brother Al, (Vietnam Vet) created a fishing /media empire starting in the early ’70s. I first met Ron in the late 80s in Rochester at the boat show. His mantra was Faith, Family and fishing in that order. Ron was the Author of 10 books, held 3 patents, including ” the Lindy Rig”, for fishing walleyes. Ron served in the US ARMY from 1953 to 1957. A life well lived.
