GOING HUNTING THIS WEEKEND? YOU MAY WANT TO RETHINK WHO GOES WITH YOU

Not everyone has the same passions around hunting. While some will never go in their entire life there are those that will go at every opportunity. Personally I go out during deer season and that’s been it. It’s my opportunity to spend some time alone in the woods and kind of reflect on things going on in the world. I can get meat to fill our freezer with a collection of different treats from jerky to steaks and chops. I’ve taken my kids out hunting when they were younger and enjoyed teaching them about respecting the wildlife and being quiet and aware of their surroundings. It’s a great experience that see I’ve lots of adults enjoy sharing. I’ve also heard of couples going out together as well and spending time together. The funny thing is that I’ve heard more stories about couples never wanting to do that ever again. Whether they start conversations that distract from the hunting or someone can’t keep quiet in any way shape or form. This goes for men and women. It is funny when someone doesn’t get it AT ALL about being quiet out in the woods. A guy once told me about a time he took his wife with and I thought he might file for divorce after the experience. A woman I once talked with couldn’t believe her husband didn’t understand while he’s never shot a deer when she sat with him and he wouldn’t start fidgeting around so much. Charlie Berens recent video can show just how frustrating it can be and how much the deer appreciate those that can’t quite keep from being a little too loud.
