Whether you’re a fan of superhero movies or not you cannot argue that they extremely popular. While this may wain eventually they currently rule the theaters and streaming services. Disney and their affiliate Marvel are the kings of the superhero movie genre. For the most part, there isn’t any movie they release that doesn’t rule the box office and their streaming options have gotten a ton of praise as they interconnect with the movie story lines. The biggest event that announces the next big thing in science fiction movies and all things geeky is the San Diego Comic Con. The convention has gone on for decades where fans, and “super fans” can go and get the latest information on anything upcoming in the world of comic books and anything associated with them. Hall H is the room that always has the biggest news and it doesn’t get bigger than Marvel’s next phase of storytelling which is called “The Multiverse Saga”. Probably the most tear inducing introduction goes to the teaser trailer for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” that addresses the fact that actor Chadwick Boseman has died in real life and they are acknowledging that in the film. Th trailer also indicates the discovery of Atlantis and Prince Namor who rules it. I didn’t see any mention of the anticipated return of the X-Men to the saga, but they are known to suddenly redo or insert movies into the already existing time line.
