WEBSTER’S DICTIONARY ADDS NEW WORDS
Written by Tony Schultz on September 9, 2022
There will always be a few new words that become part of the lexicon and deserve their place in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary. They become a meaningful part of people’s everyday language and are timeless. Even some slang words become fit to join the list. Now a large number of words have been added to the Dictionary with some, I feel being put in prematurely as they will not last for long. I might be wrong. Also, there are phrases like “pumpkin spice” that you should be able to figure out simply by looking up the two separate words. Either way, these new words and phrases, as well as abbreviations have been added and should allow those that don’t know what someone might be trying to tell them via a text or social media what they mean.
