HOUSTON GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM WANTS TO SEE YOU IN THE STANDS FOR THEIR CANES CARE CANCER AWARENESS FUNDRAISER
Written by Tony Schultz on January 22, 2024
The Houston Girls Basketball team has always had a game to help raise funds for the Houston Area Cancer Support Group. It has always been successful, but this year they want to take it up a notch and make the biggest donation ever. At their game against Southland on January 30th they will be accepting free will donations and auctioning off items including a Caitlin Clark jersey. KQ98 Cares along with WinnMed are helping them raise money that all stays in the local Houston Community. There will also be baked goods and other miscellaneous items available for purchase and in the auction. You can also donate to their Pie A Coach In The Face donation buckets where a senior gets the honor of smashing a pie in the face of the coach with the most donations. The Junior Varsity game starts at 6PM with Varisty starting around 7:15PM.
The Houston Are Cancer Support auction will be held on the February 3rd at the Houston Community Center.
