NEED SOME IDEAS FOR THE WEEKEND? HERE’S A COUPLE TO CHECK OUT!

This weekend it looks to be chilly and rainy. Not a great combo for going to the apple orchard or getting lost in a corn maze. Inside might be a better plan unless the elements make the outdoor event better. I know, it’s a bit of a contradiction there but bare with me. Who doesn’t like to laugh?! Head into The Main and get your laugh on! Nothing can beat good comedy and you can get it right in LaCrosse.

They’re are plenty of them around, but this one is right in the middle of the tri-states at the Houston County Fairgrounds. The Scare At The Fair is put on by the local 4-H groups and helps raise money for the show barn they recently built. What a great way to have some fun and get scared a bit while! And it goes to a great cause too!

How can the rain and cool weather make something better? When it’s “Football Weather”! You can see several local teams battle on the gridiron without traveling too far! With games in LeRoy, Spring Valley, Harmony, and Byron you have a great opportunity to see your favorite local team play! (Note: the Caledonia and Dover-Eyota home playoff games have been moved to Monday the 30th at 7PM because the previous playoff games were rescheduled due to weather.)
