WEATHERMAN JUMPS INTO ACTION TO SAVE WOMAN
Written by Tony Schultz on October 1, 2024
Reporters do their best to not be a part of the news they are covering. Sometimes though you have to be a human and do what you think is right. A weatherman was covering the floods caused by Hurricane Helene and could hear a woman shouting for help as she was trapped in her car. He had called 911 already, but felt he had to take action for fear of the rescuers not getting there soon enough. He waded out to her and brought her to safety and put her in his car to warm up. Pretty good on him to do the right thing.
