Dolly Parton Deserves The Presidential Medal Of Freedom

The last year has been awful and we all know that. Through it all and leading up to it certain individuals have worked hard to keep hopes up and be a beacon. Dolly Parton has always been an individual that looks to the bright side of things. It was surprising to not only Stephen Colbert, but also to former President Barack Obama that Dolly has never received the Presidential Medal Of Freedom. She only increased the possibility of receiving that honor when she donated $1 million to Vanderbilt University towards the search for a cure to Corona virus, and their research was part of the Moderna vaccine. So I fully endorse Ms. Parton to receive this honor along with any other honors as she is an American treasure! Before every concert that happens when this is all over she should be thanked before a single note is played.
