MAN DRIVES SUV ONTO BASEBALL FIELD TO DO DONUTS

Written by on February 23, 2022

Every year at the Super Bowl it seems like we have someone run onto the field in an attempt to gain attention. This year during the AFC playoff game between the Chiefs and Bills and wide receiver Stephon Diggs tackled him. This year there was a runner on the field that most didn’t know about because the broadcast didn’t address it and TV viewers didn’t see it. No sport is free of it happening and some runners are more unique or memorable than others. Imagine if someone didn’t run onto the field but instead drove onto the field. We would have a “Happy Gilmore” situation for sure. The other day a man drove an SUV onto Petco Field home of the Sand Diego Padres and decided to do some donuts once he got out there. Luckily the grounds crew working were all OK and the players are currently still in the off season. What drove this guy to do this might be a bit of a mystery, but it was definitely a strange and dangerous thing to do. They were smart to block him in using a forklift so the police could handle it from there.
