VELVEETA AND CHOCOLATE … IT’S A THING

Have you ever just sat around and thought about unique food combinations? Such as, steak with cranberry sauce on it or maybe a baked potato stuffed with chicken and drizzled with buffalo sauce. Nothing too crazy, but you may find a new and palatable mix. Sometimes when I watch the Food Network I see things mixed together that sound odd, but then try them and realize how great they are together. I’m not too sure how I feel about this one with the surprising twist that it isn’t some Tik Tok trend. Recently Compartes chocolates has decided to make a special chocolate truffle filled with Velveeta cheese. Yes, you read that correctly. Not a chunk mind you, but cheese sauce like from Shells and Cheese. Never would ever have thought would be a good combination. Ever. Here we are though just having it be reality. How could they make it worse? They used white chocolate which is bad just on it’s own. I will not apologize to those that think otherwise. No matter how much I think Velveeta Shells and Cheese is a wonderful meal I would never think to mix it with chocolate. The confection is shaped and colored like a pasta shell and colored Velveeta yellow. For $25 you can get a pack of your own. As one of my favorite Tik Tok’ers would say, “It ain’t gonna slide down easy if it ain’t cheesy!”
