Police Officer Gets Kids Back In The Game

Written by on January 27, 2021

There are many ways we can help someone out. A local officer helped some kids out with their football game. No ball? No problem! He had one for the handoff to keep the fun going.

From the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page: While on patrol Deputy Roberts noticed some kids playing on a snow hill. The kids had Vikings gear on but there was no football in sight. After talking to the kids, it was revealed that their friend just left with the football, leaving them with nothing to play with. Deputy Roberts was prepared for just this situation. He went to his squad and grabbed a football and gave it to the kids. Great job, Deputy Roberts!
