Crystal Ball Didn’t See This Coming, Started Fire

Not to make too light of a scary situation …. oops, I did it again. Well, at least no one was hurt during a recent fire caused in an interesting way. You might want to check your own home for this possible problem. We too often decorate our spaces and think “doesn’t that look great and it captures the light perfectly” and don’t realize that it may cause damage by projecting a virtual laser beam into flammable material. I got my wife a Lens Ball for taking pictures at Christmas and it has a warning on the packaging to not leave it out in direct sunlight for just this reason.
