THE KQ98 TOP 3 FROM AROUND RIVER CITY

Written by on November 30, 2023

The holidays are in full swing as December 1st starts off the weekend. There are still craft shows to go to and find special gifts. Maybe you’re tired of all the shopping and running around already. Here’s a few things to do that are entertaining and educational from the craft side of things. Friends and family can enjoy these all with you or you can enjoy some “you time” and get away from them all.

This musical looks like a fun way to enjoy the Christmas spirit at the theater. The Great American Trailer Park Christmas gets you in touch with the holidays in a fun way. With the months approaching that you don’t want to or can’t leave the house this is a great reason to get out and laugh as well. You have a few different days to catch it.

Enjoy some small town charm and fun with the Hollidazzle in Houston on Saturday. You can be part of the Dashing Through the Snow fun run or go inside and take pictures and the kids can make crafts. There is also an Elf Store for the kids to buy presents for just a few dollars, and a vendor market to find unique gifts. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present during the day and at night at the parade which leads to the Light Up The Park. A full day and early evening of family fun that all can enjoy!

Put together your own decorations this year! Get some friends and make the table Grinchier than it ever has been. Or maybe make something more traditional. They’ve got a couple workshops at Second Nature st Reads Creek on Sunday that you can make your own centerpiece at while also shopping for a tree.
