MIKE ROWE, JOHN RICH, AND THE OAK RIDGE BOYS HAVE A “DIRTY JOB” FOR YOU

Written by on December 1, 2021

It’s not too often that we get new, or better stated original Christmas music to add to our holiday playlist. While we might like Bing Crosby, Michael Bolton, and Garth Brooks singing “White Christmas” hearing the same song sung differently can get a little tiresome. It’s refreshing when a new Christmas song comes out that shakes things up a bit and gives us a something new to love. As Mike Myers likes to put it, “A light sorbet to cleanse the palette”. In 2016 Brett Eldredge gave us a new classic with “Glow” which is getting played on stations that go to full time Christmas music this time of year. Folks love it! In contrast there is Lil Jon who came out with “All I Really Want For Christmas” in 2018 which is a song that seems to also be an ode to Kool-Aid for some reason. That one didn’t catch on very well. Today it was fun to find a song by Dirty Jobs star, Mike Rowe, John Rich and The Oak Ridge Boys that is actually a fun new addition to your Christmas playlist! What makes this better is that sales of the song go on to help charities with all proceeds of the song will be given to Folds Of Honor, and The Mike Rowe Works Foundation. I suggest you do download it today and freshen up that Christmas party soundtrack with “Santa’s Got A Dirty Job”.
