COBRA KAI SEASON 4 COMES OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH AND I’M HERE FOR IT

If you haven’t been watching Cobra Kai on Netflix over the last few years I question your life decisions. Mostly I do that if you grew up watching the original Karate Movies from the 80s starring Ralph Macchio. Even if you never saw them you have heard or used the quote “wax on, wax off” at some point in your life. Maybe you’ve even taken “The Crane” pose in a joking manner when arguing with a friend. Then you listened to the hip-grabber, Glory Of Love performed by Peter Cetera and remembered a junior high dance where you danced with your first crush. If any of these thing resonate with you then get ready for the 4th season of the continued rivalry between Daniel Larusso (Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence played by 80s jerk staple, William Zabka! This time they (SPOILER ALERT!) team up to take on Johnny’s old sensei who has basically stolen the Cobra Kai dojo from right underneath him. Will this new combination pull them together or push them further apart then ever before!!! With a dearth of relationship story lines and both strong male and female characters and just enough kitschy references you will enjoy this love letter to the 80s kick fest. Time to sweep the legs up on the couch, and binge watch the the original movies and the first three season over the holiday break so you are no longer lost on inside jokes like “hashbrown”, “immunity”, why it’s poetic that a guy gets zipped up in a body bag, and why the mohawk and ridiculously tacky back tattoos are once again empowering a new group of karate kids to be …. the best around!
