KAYAKERS IN MINNESOTA FIND HUMAN SKULL
Written by Tony Schultz on May 19, 2022
Imagine you’re just out enjoying the recent nice weather on a kayak. You go down some new and unfamiliar waterways to have a little adventure and really spread your wings. While taking a break to explore the landscape, or you take a dip in the river and your foot bumps and odd object you find something unexpected. Yep, you just found a human skull. Luckily for you it doesn’t appear to be too fresh. That’s what 2 kayak enthusiasts found in southwestern Minnesota in a river and they have solved the oldest cold case in Minnesota history. Why? Because the skull with the blunt trauma head injury is approximately 8000 years old. You can just imagine that this guy was in for the fight of his life or perhaps someone surprised him and killed him for simply being in the wrong territory. It is an extraordinary find regardless and gives a glimpse into Minnesota history.
