CAROLINA PANTHERS BAD YEAR REFLECTED IN AN ALMOST EMPTY STADIUM

Written by on December 19, 2023

This is just sad. The Carolina Panthers are having a difficult season and are most likely going to end the season with the worst record in the NFL. They traded away several draft picks and good players so they could draft Bryce Young as their quarterback of the future. Unfortunately, he hasn’t quite panned out as well as they hoped and the season took a severe nosedive. The fans let the team know their disappointment by not showing up for the game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. I’ve seen some sparse stadiums over the years with some open seats in some sections but never to this level. The Falcons aren’t doing to well either so that doesn’t help. There was a picture shared 18 minutes before kickoff and it was completely empty. It didn’t improve much after that. Reportedly there were tickets on sale for 45 cents to $5! It doesn’t look to improve anytime soon either. They traded away their 1st round pick for the 2024 draft to the Bears and won’t have a pick until the 2nd round. That makes it tough to build around the young QB. Even when the Vikings, Packers, Bears, or Lions have been at their worst I have never seen the stadiums look like this.
