EAGLES QUARTERBACK ALMOST INJURED RIGHT AFTER THE GAME

Written by on January 3, 2022

Every year in the NFL players get injured while performing on the field. Sometimes it’s just normal cuts and bruises that come from giant guys crashing into each other at high rates of speed. While other times it can be an injury that derails them for a season or maybe even their career. There are those rare and sometimes flukey injuries that players get away from the field where they slip in the shower and strain a muscle, or let a firework exploded in their hand and lose some fingers. Usually, the latter injuries are never caught on film like the in game injuries are. Yesterday after the Eagles went and beat the Washington Football Team in Washington Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Eagles almost became actually hurt. As he was walking off the field some Philly fans were leaning over the railings to give him a well deserved high five. Just as he was walking by the railing to his left snapped and the railing and the fans came dangerously close to falling on their starting quarterback. Had he been a second faster and not been paying attention he could have been severely hurt by the railing and the collective weight of the fans falling on him. The railing would have hit his leg and maybe even his knee possibly ending his year. Luckily he moved out of the way and it looked like no one was injured in the fall as they jumped up and he gave them hugs and took a couple quick pictures before they crawled back up into the stands. Imaging if that was how your starting quarterback got injured – fallen on by fans.
