BEER MADE FROM HORMEL CHILI COMING JUST IN TIME FOR THE BIG GAME

Written by on January 25, 2023

Commercials for beer during sporting events go together like cereal and milk, peanut butter and jelly, chili cheese dip and tortilla chips. Speaking of that last one, you know that at most Super Bowl parties that you attend in the Midwest are going to have the staple of all party dips: Hormel Chili and cheese dip. Traditionally served in a crock pot to keep it smooth and gooey all afternoon long. Folks will dip into it endlessly because most of us only see it once or twice a year at a party. Since beer seems to be the one liquid folks will make into almost any flavor here comes Hormel Chili Cheese Brew beer that no one was asking for. But hey, here we go! It’s brewed with all the flavors you expect from that dip of big chunks of meat and processed cheese and even the chip thrown in. How does that not sound delicious? Modist Brewing Company in Minneapolis is putting the concoction together and has it available for shipping. I’m going to find out if it’s good or not as I ordered some myself to try and see if it’s worth a drink or a trip down the sink. If it tastes bad maybe I’ll use it to flavor some real chili to reform its image. Would you be willing to try this beer that sounds like a guy wearing a winter hat in summer, think rimmed glasses, and sporting the thinnest of goatees would rave about and tell you that you should be appalled that you’re drinking a Busch Lite instead of this? It’s worth a try I guess if only to prove it tastes good or bad. You can head to hormelchilicheesebrew.com to order your own 4 pack.
